Scope of Practice: The practice of a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) is based on knowledge in the performance domains to supervise substance abuse professionals who work to treat, prevent, or reduce the conditions that place individuals at risk of developing addictive disorder or disease and help prevent relapse. Who May Apply for this Credential? Any Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) interested in pursuing the supervision of persons providing substance abuse services. The Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) is not a standalone credential.
